A Mrs. Powel of Philadelphia asked Benjamin Franklin, “Well, Doctor, what have we got, a republic or a monarchy?” With no hesitation whatsoever, Franklin responded, “A republic, if you can keep it.”

Leftists have an anomalous disposition towards this country’s history, the Founding Fathers, and the Constitution. The expanding chasm between what the documented intentions were of the Founders, and the fantastical and unsupportable conjecture of the Founders intentions by Leftist ideologues, are inexhaustible. The truth of the Founders intentions and the true meaning of the Constitution lie not in Supreme Court case law, not in manufactured history by the Left, and certainly not in the ideological cesspool of the Democratic Party. The truth lies in reading the Constitution, a knowledge of history, and studying the commentaries by the authors, which clearly explains their intentions without the need of conjecturing intellectuals educated with propaganda 250 years later.

They finally did it. The Democrats have officially sanctioned mob rule, Ochlocracy, to be referred to therein as Mobocracy, America’s new form of government by a vote of 222-203. This victorious vote by the congressional Mobocracy has delegated to Nancy Pelosi– one of the most reprobate and obtuse politicians in this country’s history– to, with her signature pell-mell modus operandi, “deem” legislation approved without the constitutionally mandated approval of each house of Congress. With one vote, the rule of law that has shielded this country from anarchy has been replaced with a one-party collective dictatorship. Whether she acts on it is another story.

Nancy Pelosi addressed the 2010 Legislative Conference for the National Association of Counties earlier this week. With her vacuous hyperbole, Pelosi confirmed, yet again, that she and Maxine Waters are cerebrally indistinguishable from cork. Being a fervid pursuant of the prodigiously stupid and the intellectually irrelevant, especially in Congress, I was once again surprised that I could be momentarily startled by any maniacal doctrine Pelosi or Waters verbalized.

On February 25th, Obama’s health care summit/theater/reality show was held at Blair House. One week of dissecting, analyzing, interpreting, and consideration has been invested into annotating Obama’s fusion of powers exposition. For the myopically infirmed Left, Obama was spectacular as usual, displaying his super-intellect; for the moderately myopic– independents whose allegiance changes with the wind– Obama’s debacle of a circus caused more than a statistical trifling to shift back to the right under the cloak of self-loathing; and for the confederacy of patriots, constitutionalists, those with discernment for manufactured competence, and those blessed with an abundance of commonsense, the show was nothing more than an exponentially expanding substantiation of incompetence and fundamental constitutional illiteracy.

Hypothetical scenario:

Say you were just driving along in your car when all of a sudden your car is being pelted with books of a classical nature, scholarly writings, and dictionaries. You slam on your brakes, exit your car, look up into the sky and witness the horror unfolding. Flying saucers are discharging the aforementioned  literary ammunition through the square shaped barrels of extraterrestrial space guns. All moving objects are being targeted and shot with erudite and literate publications. You look down at the amassing publications, when you are pinged in the temple by Shakespeare’s The Tempest, knees buckling, you slide to the ground and take cover in your automobile.
