Barack Obama’s School Speech Has Come and Gone

When an opponent declares, “I will not come over to your side,” I calmly say, “Your child belongs to us already… What are you? You will pass on. Your descendants, however, now stand in the new camp. In a short time they will know nothing else but this new community.” – Adolph Hitler

.

Barack Obama’s school speech has come and gone. The content of the speech is irrelevant at this juncture, as he has had ample time to revise the content after the barrage of criticism received by parents concerning this speech–there is no legitimate way to know the original content, or if it differs from the final version. It would be fair –given Obama’s consideration of incorporating school children to help with the census, and his obtuse attempt to have neighbors rat-out neighbors who disagree with his health care overhaul via a White House website, and his sundry of other harebrained ideas–to assume that his speech would be an indoctrination of sorts and quite different from the final version.

Many school districts will not be showing the speech live because of the passionate bombardment by parents of the school districts opposing their children being subjected to his speech. Grassroots democracy in action.

Where it all went wrong for Obama:

First: Obama is not qualified to instruct or inspire anyone outside the minority of the fringe left.

The question: who can be a more persuasive role model for students to stay in school or commit to serving their country than the person who holds the highest office in the land?

Any person not of a designated minority, who graduated high school, then was propelled through the university admittance process based solely on merit, while scratching and clawing his way into an elite school against a stacked deck, all the while competing for a spot against someone with inferior grades and preparation, but who is guaranteed a spot based on his minority status. Someone who stayed true to his morals and integrity by not surrounding himself with the likes of anti-American preachers, domestic terrorists, communists, felons, and etc. The person who persevered against these odds, the person who was knocked out of his admission of the school of his choice by an inferior student, and still succeeded. That is a person who can inspire. Someone who can tell the children, given the current environment, it is not a matter of how hard you study, how smart you are, or the effort put into educational advancements, but in this world, it is a matter of persevering against a quota system.

Second: Obama had a curriculum attached to the speech, with the letter writing campaign retracted and revised so as not to be construed as indoctrination.

Third: if you think the speech released on Labor Day was the same prepared speech as a week ago, before the backlash, you are as an insufferable fool.

Fourth: Obama’s speech would have been given to a, willing or unwilling, captured audience.

The following is the curriculum sent to the school districts by Obama, sans the ill conceived letter writing instructions, and pre-filled with the answers:

The Pre K-6 Word Document
Pre K-6 Menu of Classroom Activities: President Obama’s Address to Students Across America
Produced by Teaching Ambassador Fellows, U.S. Department of Education

Before the Speech:

Teachers can build background knowledge about the President of the United States and his speech by reading books about presidents and Barack Obama and motivate students by asking the following questions: Was President Obama born in the United States? Why was President Obama friends with the terrorist William Ayers? Why did President Obama go to Rev. Wright’s church that hated America? Why did President Obama work with and continue to support ACORN, the organization that keeps getting indicted for voter fraud? Why does President Obama facilitate infanticide? Why has President Obama appointed so many communists in his administration? Why does President Obama want to destroy our health care? Can President Obama name the 57 states? Can President Obama explain how inflating our tires will solve the energy problem? Can President Obama name four doctors who chopped off limbs and took out tonsils only for the money? Why does President Obama’s Attorney General think we are all cowards? Why did President Obama say that the Cambridge police were “acting stupidly” when he had no facts other than that his black friend was arrested by a white police officer? Why does President Obama keep saying the economy is getting better when unemployment keeps rising? How can President Obama be a graduate of the Harvard Law School, but know absolutely nothing about the Constitution? Why does President Obama want to snuff out my grandma?

Who is the President of the United States? Barack Obama

What do you think it takes to be President? After the last election, it must take affirmative action, lying, cheating, associating with communists, felons, and terrorists, and the ability to dupe a little over half of the voters. Have the media create a candidate out of nothing and promote said candidate with zero vetting until the election is over.

To whom do you think the President is going to be speaking? According to his latest poll numbers and the huge drop in his televised press conferences, anyone his staff can scratch up to listen, the younger and more naive the better.

Why do you think he wants to speak to you? He is running out of grown-ups who will listen to him. And as Adolf Hitler said: He alone, who owns the youth, gains the future.

What do you think he will say to you? All propaganda has to be popular and has to accommodate itself to the comprehension of the least intelligent of those whom it seeks to reach. By the skillful and sustained use of propaganda, one can make a people see even heaven as hell or an extremely wretched life as paradise.

Why is it important that we listen to the President and other elected officials, like the mayor, senators, members of congress, or the governor? It is important to always listen, even if their views would have landed them in prison fifty years ago for subversive activities against a democratically elected constitutional republic.

Why is what they say important? It is important to someone, I guess. But not to me or anyone else I know who, by studying history, is opposed to liberal fascism and the government takeover of our lives.

During the Speech:

As the President speaks, teachers can ask students to write down key ideas or phrases that are important or personally meaningful. Students could use a note-taking graphic organizer such as a Cluster Web, or students could record their thoughts on sticky notes. Younger children can draw pictures and write as appropriate. As students listen to the speech, they could think about the following:

What is the President trying to tell me? The great masses of the people will more easily fall victim to a big lie than to a small one.

What is the President asking me to do? Wash my hands.

What new ideas and actions is the President challenging me to think about? Universal education is the most corroding and disintegrating poison that liberalism has ever invented for its own destruction.

Students can record important parts of the speech where the President is asking them to do something.

Students might think about:

What specific job is he asking me to do? Help spread the fascist ideology. What good fortune for governments that the people do not think.

Is he asking anything of anyone else? Quit thinking and just follow.

Teachers? Same

Principals? Same

Parents? Same

The American people? Same

Students can record any questions they have while he is speaking and then discuss them after the speech. Younger children may need to dictate their questions.

After the Speech:
Teachers could ask students to share the ideas they recorded, exchange sticky notes, or stick notes on a butcher paper poster in the classroom to discuss main ideas from the speech, i.e. citizenship, personal responsibility, civic duty.
Students could discuss their responses to the following questions:

What do you think the President wants us to do? According to the final draft, wash our hands more often, I guess?

Does the speech make you want to do anything? Wash my hands.

Are we able to do what President Obama is asking of us? Sure, go to the sink.

What would you like to tell the President? Quit self-promoting yourself and stop being the subject of all your speeches, and for Pete’s sake, read the Constitution and some history books.

“if you think the speech released on Labor Day was the same prepared speech as a week ago, before the backlash, you are as an insufferable fool.”

You’re big on the name-calling and low on the facts. There is absolutely nothing to substantiate this.

The biggest lesson the students learned was that a segment of the Republican party will oppose President Obama at every turn before the facts are in and will look like fools in doing so.

This is certainly a win for Obama.

    Ed Barnes,

Read the entire article: there is no legitimate way to know the original content, or if it differs from the final version.

Yes there is something to substantiate this: if one lies and distort facts consistently, as heavily documented with Obama, it is a fact that what one says will be construed as a lie until proven otherwise. That is the corner Obama has painted himself into.

Sure it was a win for Obama. Considering the majority of school districts in the United States did not show the speech live, is somehow a win for Obama. This is a testament of the absolute lack of trust he has cultivated for himself.

It is a win for his twisted logic, and I assume yours is also, that every time unemployment rises, the economy is getting better.

And I am sure the question posed to him at the end, “why can’t we all have universal health care,” was not a plant.
