Buyer Beware
If you have a laissez-faire disposition about politics regarding the upcoming 2008 presidential election, and are contemplating voting for any of the current batch of Democratic hopefuls, especially Hillary Clinton, John Edwards, or Barack Obama, you need to know what you are buying into. I will focus on these three because they are the Democratic front runners and the most dangerous. These are not your father’s Democrats.
If you want to know what you are securing for your vote, you should read the Communist Manifesto by Carl Marx. After that you will know exactly you are getting for your vote.
Hillary Clinton is a Marxist. John Edward doesn’t know what he is, but is bumbling around with his compass pointed towards Marxism. Barack Obama will have to follow a Fascist agenda if he wants to appease the far-left bloggers,media, and the fringe groups that control the Democratic party.
It doesn’t matter what party one is affiliated with or shares the fundamentals of, rhetoric and actions will always define one’s character. Hillary Clinton has been defined as a Marxist. Same with John Edwards. Barack Obama is in the ballpark of Socialism, but will be compelled to change his spots if he is to front a serious challenge to the other pinkos.
If you dismiss the consequences of who is elected in 2008, then re-consider. This is an election where the consequences have the potential to be cataclysmic to the basic fundamentals this country was founded upon.
If Hillary Clinton or an equal is elected, this is what to expect: Socialist will have control of the Legislative branch and the Executive branch. Benign at first. They have the immediate potential to do perdurable damage but the current Supreme Court, in its current state, would most likely temper steps over constitutional boundaries. ‘
The makeup of the Supreme Court has the potential the change acutely during the next administration. There will be at least one and maybe two appointments to the Supreme Court during the administration following the 2008 elections. The court has four solid conservatives on the bench. There are currently a hodgepodge of Socialist loons in control of the Congress. Add a Socialist to the Presidency then deduce what persuasion of justice or justices will be nominated and possibly appointed to the Supreme Court? It is plausible that all three branches of the government could be under Socialist control.
Where could it go from there? Hugo Chavez ran as a Socialist in Valenzuela. He was overwhelmingly elected. After being elected and appointing himself President for life he nationalized (appropriated without compensation) the energy sectors with the intention of redistributing the wealth. Then he nationalized (appropriated without compensation) the utility companies with the same intentions. No problem. Peter has been robbed and Paul paid in full- the foundation of Socialism. Earlier this week Chavez nationalized a popular television station. Then the riots started. Too bad. Now we have a dictator and not of the benevolent class. Nothing can be done short of a coup or assassination to change current Venezuelan policies. The people of Valenzuela made a deal with the devil and are paying the same price as any one who makes a deal with the devil.
A few days later Evo Morales, President of Bolivia and Rafael Correa, President of Ecuador, have taken steps to restrict freedoms of the press in their respective countries by cracking down on independent broadcasters. This was with the encouragement of Hugo Chavez’s buddy Fidel Castro.
If you think the socialist agenda of wealth and property redistribution and the nationalizing of private companies will make your life better, then vote for Hilliary Clinton or someone similar. You will be making a deal with the devil….but do you want to pay that price?
