Left vs. Right

Jerry Falwell (August 11,1933-May-15, 2007).

I did not always agree with Jerry Falwell’s ideology. I did not always agree with his methodology of Christian conversion. I did not always agree with his interpretation of the Bible. This did not make Jerry Falwell a bad man. It did not make him an evil man. I believe Jerry Falwell was an honorable man. I believe he was a devout man of faith. His passing is nothing to be celebrated by anyone.

No sooner was the death of Jerry Falwell announced than the leftwing screwballs were dancing on his grave-and he wasn’t even in it yet.

Some comments from the noble left:

“Rot in Hell Falwell”

“Uncharitable or not I am sorry his death was not more painful and drawn out. He did not deserve a relatively peaceful, painless and quick death”

“May Pat Robertson and James Dobson be next”

Never before has this country seen a class so devoid of principles, culture and morals. This is a completely soulless group lot, these liberals.

Christopher Hitchens, the poster child of evil, had this to say:

“The discovery of the carcass of Jerry Falwell on the floor of an obscure office in Virginia has almost zero significance, except perhaps for two categories of the species labeled “credulous idiot.” The first such category consists of those who expected Falwell (and themselves) to be bodily raptured out of the biosphere and assumed into the heavens, leaving pilotless planes and driverless trucks and taxis to crash with their innocent victims as collateral damage. This group is so stupid and uncultured that it may perhaps be forgiven. It is so far left behind” that almost its only pleasure is to gloat at the idea of others being abandoned in the same condition.”

Larry Flynt, publisher of Hustler magazine, and Jerry Falwell were arch enemies for many years. This is how nasty it got:Flynt ran a fake ad in his magazine that said Jerry Falwell’s first sexual experience was with his mother. Their case ended up in the Supreme Court on the first amendment right and Flynt won.

Here is what Larry Flynt had to say about Jerry Falwel’s passing:

“The Reverend Jerry Falwell and I were arch enemies for fifteen years. We became involved in a lawsuit concerning First Amendment rights and Hustler magazine. Without question, this was my most important battle – the l988 Hustler Magazine, Inc., v. Jerry Falwell case, where after millions of dollars and much deliberation, the Supreme Court unanimously ruled in my favor.

My mother always told me that no matter how much you dislike a person, when you meet them face to face you will find characteristics about them that you like. Jerry Falwell was a perfect example of that. I hated everything he stood for, but after meeting him in person, years after the trial, Jerry Falwell and I became good friends. He would visit me in California and we would debate together on college campuses. I always appreciated his sincerity even though I knew what he was selling and he knew what I was selling.”

None of the radical left bloggers, who run the Democratic party, or the mainstream media has a trace of the class that Larry Flynt has demonstrated in the passing of Jerry Falwell. Flynt is old school left. He knows how to be civilized when the occasion calls for it. The same can’t be said for the uncivilized left of today.

Time Magazine

in·flu·en·tial (?n’fl?-?nsh?l)
adj. Having or exercising influence.
n. One that is of considerable importance or influence: sought the advice of policy influentials.

At what point does a major publication become so biased they become insignificant?

That point came for Time Magazine on May 3, 2007. Time published their 100 Most Influential List. Time Magazine has been on the fast track to insignificance for some time now not only by what they report but what they don’t. On May 3 they finally reached it’s pinnacle.

They achieved this by not only who they listed as being influential, but by who they did not list and who they deceptively misrepresented.

Good or bad. Loved or hated. How can you leave off the current sitting President of the United States under the Leaders and Revolutionaries list? George W. Bush was not listed.

How can you omit the most watched person on the most watched cable news channel on the Entertainment list? Bill O’Reilly was not listed.

Al Gore topped the list for Scientist and Thinkers. This is an insult to scientist and definitely an insult to thinkers.

Time’s editors wrote about Hillary Clinton, “she has always been a more moderate and pragmatic politician than either her admirers or her detractors believed.” Hillary Clinton on her best day is a Marxist. No one in politics is as adept at pandering than Hillary Clinton.

Time editors also praised Obama for “conservative boldness.” In Obamas’ two years in congress he has voted to the left of moderate Democrats. At what point does this type of reporting cross from being a twisted myopic ideology to just plain lying?

This was not a poll or public opinion. It was just the editors of Time Magazine who compiled the list.

Read the list. The list is so liberally biased it insults the most basic level of intelligence if you expect objectivity and accuracy from a news magazine.

September of 2007 the United States had record tax revenues. The highest revenues in our history were received. The stock market is at an all time high. The Dow rose 23 out of 26 sessions in the month of April. The Dow is having longest bull run in 80 years-since 1927. Inflation is low. Jobs are high. Nothing mentioned by Time Magazine. Why? Because they don’t like the cause of it. Is this journalism? Is this news? Are they really relevant?

Time Magazine is insignificant. They do have a large subscription base. A lot of people read this magazine assuming they are getting the unbiased truth and actual news. If you only tell half the story it is not news, it is your opinion.

Even facts or worthless if tempered with a radical ideology.

Time Magazine is so infected with a left wing agenda that no one with the most primal sense of intelligence and common sense would equate what they publish with relevant journalism.

Rosie O’Donnell: Rocket Scientist

“I do believe that it’s the first time in history that fire has ever melted steel. I do believe that it defies physics that World Trade Center tower 7—building 7, which collapsed in on itself—it is impossible for a building to fall the way it fell without explosives being involved. World Trade Center 7. World Trade [Center] 1 and 2 got hit by planes—7, miraculously, the first time in history, steel was melted by fire. It is physically impossible.”

-Rosie O’Donnell

Has to be George Bush’s fault, maybe even Arnold-he’s a republican, you know.
