Antihonetus personality disorder (AHPD), more commonly referred to as factualpathy, is described by the American Psychiatric Association’s Diagnostic and Statistical Manual as an Axis II personality disorder. It is characterized as a chronic and cerebrally fatal disease, manifested by an obsessive compulsion with disregarding facts and truths. The afflicted will present symptoms of manic cerebral paroxysms caused by a profound phobia of facts or truths. There is currently no known cure or treatment.

I received a personal email from our President, Barack Obama. He bemoaned his frustration with having to work with another branch of the government, and for good reason. The poor man suffered through two years of a do-nothing Congress that was elected the same day he was elected reigning down from above “Hope and Change.”

The rule of law is the mechanism that renders the government subordinate to the law. The rule of law is superior to the day to day, month to month, or year to year capricious dispositions of the elected and their ideologies. The rule of law requires the government to operate within the bounds of law, and in American government, requires the government to enforce the laws. Under the rule of law, no one is above the law, including the President of the United States. The United States Constitution, Article II, Section 3, compels the President to “…take care that the laws be faithfully executed….”

For the presumed leader of the most powerful country on the planet, Barack Obama has the unusual infantile habit of hastily assembling press conferences to cry on the shoulder of the American people, as would a petulant and spoiled child who runs to his mother when he can’t have his way in the outside world, or who runs to mommy for a sympathetic ear, pointing a finger at someone else when he has broken something. Obama has again run crying, now to the world, because he can’t have his way. Also, to add to his frustration, the whole “equal branches of government” thing is just not working out for him. In a recent speech to the domestic terrorist group La Raza, Obama stated, in his best dictatorial tone, “Believe me, the idea of doing things on my own is very tempting.”

The state of Texas executed Humberto Leal for the 1994 brutal rape and murder of a 16-year-old Texas girl. The fact that Leal was living in this country illegally since 1975 was irrelevant. Dismissing pressure from the United Nations, foreign and American diplomats, former President George W. Bush, Barack Obama, the Department of State, Mexico, and the International Court of Justice, Texas executed its laws and Leal. The Governor of Texas, Rick Perry, refused to exercise his discretion to grant Humberto Leal a 30-day delay of execution, which was congruent with the rejection by the Texas Board of Pardons and Paroles of Leal’s request for a reprieve. Rick Perry and the Texas Board of Pardons stood on solid legal ground, the Supreme Court agreed with the State of Texas, and Humberto Leal left Texas for good on July 7, 2011, at precisely 6:21 pm.

If giving a speech entails fixating a microphone and teleprompter in front of a mollycoddled, petulant adolescent, who in turn uses the microphone and teleprompter to propel accusations and prevarications because he can’t have his way, then Barack Obama and his teleprompter gave a speech on the debt ceiling June 29, 2011. The speech emanated a child throwing a public tantrum, desperately trying to reconcile the fantasy world of cartoons and failed progressive ideologies with the harsh reality in which the world exists. Obama’s hemorrhage of a prosaic intellect and déclassé character, captured with his halting and vacillating elocution, was aimed at the very tax breaks he gave corporate jet owners with his stimulus package he neither read nor knew what it contained, and also which has yet to stimulate one sector of the economy.

Anthony Weiner has resigned from his seat in the United States House of Representatives. This is surprising, as Weiner emphatically resisted resigning his seat. Weiner, as a cape and tights wearing super hero disguised as a politician, which originated from his Twitter account, suffered a very short reign as far as indiscreet scepter brandishing super heroes go. All super heroes have one lethal weakness. Superman’s Achilles heel was kryptonite, and Weiner’s was morality. Generally, when caped politicians of flaccid character come face to face with the power of substantive morality wielded by a patron saint of morality, and in this case Ginger Lee, and her pettifogger of the legal profession Gloria Allred, a hasty withdrawal from public intercourse ensues.

Before last week, I knew three things about Herman Cain: he is black, is the former CEO of Godfather’s Pizza, and is considering running for president of the United States as a Republican. Before then, nothing; since then, assuming he doesn’t walk-back his statement regarding the 2nd Amendment, a paladin of the fundamental principles upon which this Republican form of government was founded.
