“Nothing is easier than blaming others for our troubles and absolving ourselves of responsibility for our choices and our actions. Anyone can do that. Responsibility and leadership in the 21st century demands more.” — Barack Obama
Very poignant statement by Barack Obama, but as witnessed by his leadership style and penchant for blaming Bush on a weekly basis for something he can’t control, he left it incomplete. If a sudden onset of honesty overcame Obama while reading his teleprompter, he would have ended the statement with “unless the blame can be placed on George Bush.”
