I think the reason McCain is not pointing out Obama’s ties to these extortionist groups is threefold; 1) it’s an unwinnable debate. Obama would simply cry racism and say, ‘Senator McCain, does this mean you’re against affordable mortgages for low-income people?’. 2)McCain knows the election is a lost cause. Being the career parasite that he is, he doesn’t want to piss off his new boss and lose his cozy committee spots. 3) it’s really dirty and the Obama camp either has documentation of the alleged wife-beating of Cindy or they have access to the alleged propaganda films McCain made while under duress in Hanoi. Either one would effectively end his political career and render using his POW status as a ‘qualification’ for the Presidency useless.
